Several hotels around the gulf open their pools for the day to visitors who are not staying the night. This is called a day pass. The term covers very different things: a sunbed facing the sea, half a day at the spa, or a full day with breakfast, a treatment, lunch and dinner. Prices range from 100 to 800 € depending on what is included.
The essentials
- Access to a hotel pool almost always comes with something else: lunch, a day pass or a minimum spend. A simple entry ticket barely exists around the gulf.
- Expect from 100 € per person for a sunbed at a beach club. At the Kube Saint-Tropez, the full day is 399 € per person (breakfast, treatment, lunch and pools) and the formula that runs through dinner is 799 € per person.
- At the Kube Saint-Tropez, the hotel and the pools are reserved for over-12s.
The three types of day pass
Three categories are offered, with different levels of access.
The beach club sunbed. This is the formula hotels and beaches offer most often: you rent a spot for the day, beside a pool or facing the sea. Nothing is included beyond the towel and the seat, and no experience comes with it. A minimum spend at the restaurant is often added.
The spa pass. This formula gives access to the sauna and the hammam when you book a treatment. It is the rule in most hotels around the gulf, including the Kube Saint-Tropez. Access to the pools is not included: that belongs to the day passes.
The full day. You arrive in the morning and leave in the late afternoon or after dinner. Breakfast, an activity, a treatment, lunch and access to the pools are covered by a single price. It is the most expensive formula.
The day passes at the Kube Saint-Tropez
Four formulas, all built around the pools and the myBlend spa, with lunch at the Kube & Pool Bar by the water or at the Cybele beach. Only the 799 € formula adds dinner, at either the Kube & Pool Bar or Le Petit Célestin on the rooftop. Each one includes complimentary myBlend products.

The pools of the Kube Saint-Tropez
The hotel has three pools, one of them heated. Two look out over the gulf. The third, at the back of the property, is the quietest: the Ibiza rooms reach it straight from their terrace.

If you are coming for the day, book your pass before arranging anything else: it is the pass that sets your arrival time, between 9 and 10 am depending on the formula. Lunch and the treatment are included, which leaves you the afternoon or the evening to fill.
